In June 2008, the Hungarian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (MBGK) was established on the initiative of Hungarian and Bulgarian entrepreneurs, with the support of the Bulgarian Embassy. The aim of the Chamber is to develop trade and economic relations between Hungary and Bulgaria in both directions and to promote the business interests of its members. The Chamber was founded by 45 companies and individuals, with the participation of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI).
Important activities and services:
Organising events in Hungary and Bulgaria for stimulating business contacts between the two countries.
Providing information and advice, market studies and reports
Representation of the interests of the participants in economic relations before Bulgarian and Hungarian governmental bodies, authorities and other institutions
